Nadine States

Nadine was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Her introduction to the “stage” was at the young age of four, when Mr. Henry Mancini invited the four-year-old girl onto the stage, (the fire was lit).

With an extraordinary 7 octave range, Nadine is a gifted song writer, composer and singer extraordinaire. She was born to share her gift of music with the world. She has done background vocals for numerous artists starting at 9 to now. Nadine was a part of the Vancouver Open Choir that sang with Celine Dion and performed for the late Dr. Maya Angelou. Nadine was also a background singer for a couple of Michael Bublé live concerts.

Nadine's passion is the blues, gospel, R&B, funk and soul. However, she first started her singing career with a top 40’s cover band Det-A-Nation aka YTT (Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow) which blazed the trail for Vancouver bands to perform overseas. She performed overseas in Bangkok, Thailand as well as touring in Germany, Hungary and Austria.

Hearing Nadine sing and watching her perform will definitely touch your soul and resonate in your heart. Music is the passion that fuels this incredible lady. She loves sharing her gift, the love, passion and joy with everyone and anyone.

Aside from her own shows, Nadine is the lead singer with The Incognito Band and one of the ladies in Ladies Sing the Blues in Vancouver.
